Another busy week has flown by.  This week have been continuing with our book Edward Tulane, we are now nearing the end of the story and we have thoroughly enjoyed it.  We have used a passage from the book as inspiration for our art this week and have created chalk drawings of Edward in his flying dream sequence.

In PSHE Miss Houston has been speaking to us about managing our anger.  We read a story about a little girl who got very angry when her friend left her to tidy up all the mess they had made together.  We spoke about how we can calm ourselves down instead of letting our anger get us out of control.  We linked this to our assembly about Chinese new year and decided to portray our anger as dragons.

In Science this week we learnt about omnivores, carnivores and herbivores.  We also learnt the names of the bones in our legs and spoke about the purpose of our bones.  After discussing the purpose of our bones we discussed how our bones were different from a cat.  Perhaps you could help us compare our bones to other animals?
